2022 Dream Makers.

At the beginning of every year, our first team meeting includes our agents and staff sharing their goals and dreams for the year. I ask each of them to create a dream board so they can reference back, manifest their goals, and achieve their dreams.

A Dream Board is a collage of images and words that you should display in a prominent place to remind you WHY you do what you do every day; images and words that spark your motivation and remind you of your values, goals, or dreams. It could also be filled with things that inspire you or leave you feeling happy. Creating a sacred space that displays what you want actually does bring it to life. What we focus on expands. When you create a vision board and place it in a space where you see it often, you essentially end up doing short visualization exercises throughout the day.

Each team member shared a wide variety of their personal dreams which consisted of emotional goals such as date night with their spouse, being present with their children and partner, setting time for exercise, prayer, financial goals, dream vacations to see and be with family from afar, as well as time to reflect personally. One of the most remarkable things was that each of them included continuing to provide the utmost service to their customers.

Matthew Kelly is one of my favorite authors. His book, “The Dream Manager,” is for companies who achieve remarkable results by helping their employees fulfill their dreams. My personal goal this year, as owner of the company, is to be each team member’s dream manager.

I always encourage other employers to get into the dream business. My dream is to help others get what they want out of life and to keep them accountable.

For me, the biggest reward is hearing my team members share that they achieved goals from their previous years dream boards. One team member shared that last year in October she hit her financial goal. This news filled my heart…I was so proud of her especially because she also balanced her two children and spouses relationship too. Another team member traveled across the world to be with her grandchildren and children and this year’s dream board has that dream on it again. One team member has a vision to change the world and create peace within the world we live in. I am so proud of this special group, who have become my family.

That’s what The Stracuzzi Team is…a family.

In life you can not go back and change the beginning but, you can start where you are and change the ending. Having your dreams in front of you on your desk or in a mirror or on your dashboard of your car are affirmations to see everyday.

Author, C.S. Lewis quotes “you are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.”

My challenge to all of you this year is to know your dreams, achieve your dreams, and be a dream maker for others. At RE/MAX Community, The Stracuzzi Team is here to make your real estate dreams come true.
